Charlie Hall and his Ocean State Follies
have been around for almost 2 decades now
and seem in no danger to slow
down-especially in an election year.
The Follies continue their musical,
satirical, hysterical look at the 'state' of
RI with all-new skits and spoofs of the
reality show Jersey Shore, featuring
"Shnipples" and the "Irritation", a debate
between all gubernatorial candidates (AG
Patrick Lynch enters on stilts), and a
Patrick Kennedy swan song medley as all of
North America applies for his job. Plus
there's jaunty jabs at Don Carcieri's budget
cuts, Steve Laffey's status, Bruce Sundlun, Lt.
Gov Roberts, Pres. Obama - even Tiger
Woods!
WPRI'S Karen Adams anchors a surreal
newscast with NBC-10's Mario Hilario, while
Charlie Hall tests the new RI GPS system
("Go left where Rocky Point used to be").
