Michael and Alicia’s Wedding Day

After getting through two long and exhausting recitals, Miss Alicia had to prepare herself for one of the most important days of her life...her wedding! The big day was on June 16th, just four days after our annual recital. Most people would think that she was a little crazy, planning it so close, but she had it all under control. She actually is one of the most organized brides that I have ever known! Bravo to you, Miss Alicia. The day was so beautiful!! All the ladies of the wedding party spent most of the day getting pampered at Divinity Day Spa, and sipping Mimosa, while the gentlemen did a little bit of card playing at The Gillis House! The day was a bit overcast all afternoon, until Miss Alicia stepped out of the salon. The sun was just waiting for her to be ready!!! After a quick visit to Alicia’s to change, the limo brought us directly to the grounds of Independence Harbor, where Michael and Alicia were married in a beautifully manicured outdoor setting under a gazebo. The ceremony and photos finished up just in time for some evening rain, which led us into the facility where we had a delicious dinner and evening full of dancing! Everyone had such a wonderful time, especially the bride and groom! I must take this opportunity to thank Alicia and Michael for giving both Greg and myself the opportunity and honor to be a part of your wedding party and to witness your special day!

Congratulations, Mr. And Mrs. Michael Shurtleff

Annual Halloween Sleepover!

Each year The Dance Factory hosts a Halloween Sleepover Party right at our facility. What a fun time we’ve had!!! Our students dress up in their favorite costume (we definitely see many familiar recital costumes from past years!!) and spend the evening dancing, singing karaoke and playing games. We’ve painted pumpkins, dipped caramel covered apples and more!! After all costumes are tucked away and the pj’s come out, it’s movie time. This past year we were able to watch a projected movie on the ceiling. This is always an evening of fun with special friends...

2004 HOLIDAY PARTY

We held our holiday party at the Knights Of Columbus in Lincoln. We had a fantastic turnout of students and their families. Everyone brought an assortment of delicious food and desserts, and we sang and danced all evening long. The weather was not on our side that night…with very icy road conditions, we were pleasantly surprised at the attendance. We were also able to wish Mackenzie M. a very big Happy 12th Birthday!!
